Job Opportunity: Male Disability Support Worker (Russian Speaking)

We are currently seeking a male, Russian-speaking Disability Support Worker to provide personalised care and support to a participant.

Key Requirements:

• Male support worker who is fluent in Russian.
  
• Preferably of a similar age to the participant or older.
  
• Comfortable accompanying the participant to church.
  
• Strong manual handling skills and experience assisting with mobility and standing programs.
  
• Confident communicating with the participant and their family.
  
• Able to provide regular updates and feedback to the care agency.
  
• Reliable, compassionate, patient and committed to providing quality care.
  

Shift Requirements:

• Primary Support Worker: 1 x ACW required for 12 hours per day.
  
• Second Support Worker: 1 x ACW required for 1.5 hours per day to assist with the participant's standing program.
  

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is caring, experienced and confident in providing hands-on support. The ideal candidate will build a positive relationship with the participant, respect their cultural and religious preferences, and work collaboratively with the family and care team.
